Allyson Felix

Allyson Michelle Felix was born in Los Angeles on November 18 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix is a minister at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix demonstrated a talent for athletics early on discovering her ability to sprint when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she was second in the 200 meter race at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix finished high school and signed an official contract for Adidas. In 2004, she enrolled in her first year at the University of Southern California, which is where she studied elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic prize at the 2004 Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200 meters in 22.18s and set an all-time junior world record. She was the youngest 200-meter world champion in the Helsinki World Championships. She defended this title in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix took part in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes in each of her events.
