Antonietta Toni Gonzalez Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States as well as Mexico, is a Mexican-American sportscaster. Her current role is an ESPN sportscaster. ESPN who is also anchor for SportsCenter news and hosting SportsNation. Her first assignment with ESPN in the year 2016. The child of TV journalist Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta Collins was bilingual since the age of nine years old. It was a helpful ability that allowed her to secure her first job as a production assistant with Univision in Miami and allowed her to collaborate with producers of national shows like Nuestra Belleza Latina, Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud and Primer Impacto. When she was in St. Petersburg, she was later recruited to the CBS station to work as a sports journalist. In 2009 she moved into Rio Grande Valley to work as a reporter for KNVO TV 48 Univision & Fox2 News. In reporting on news stories about the trafficking of drugs and immigration on both sides the Texas-Mexico border, she was reporter for news on KNVO TV 48, the Spanish channel KNVO TV 48 from 5 pm, a news reporter with a news anchor in English for 9 pm, the news anchor was on until 10pm before returning to channel Spanish channel. The station also frequently asked her to be anchors for the weather and sports. Then she became anchor and reporter on Univision Dallas' Deportes 23. The station then gave her more responsibility. She covered events like the Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS World Series and Dallas Cowboys, NBA postseason, Finals FC Dallas as well the Dallas Stars. Aside from this she was also the host and produced Univision 23's Accion Deportiva Extra local sports show. The show was made a anchoring sports on Despierta America Deportes' morning show. Eventually, they settled in Mexico City and she was born there on November 22, 1985. She's older than her sister. Her family relocated into Miami in 1992, after having left Mexico. Then, shortly afterward they separated, and in the year 1995, Fabio Fajardo got married again. He died of kidney cancer in the year 2006. In the summer of the year 2006, Antonietta took one week with her sibling at Canton Ohio. The older Collins girl was working there. Antonietta who was in high school who had a vision of how she wanted her future to look like, traveled to Mount Union University to determine whether the university was suitable for her. As it turned out she was a fan of the university and that they had the degree she was searching for. Following the completion of the requirements for high school, she attended the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann was her professor as well as the director of WRMU and WRMU, which she's a member. They developed a close relationship. He encouraged her to be self-confident and his passion in journalism was a huge influence on her. She, determined to live up to the expectations of him and not fail him.
