Leah Leah Leah Linda LindaLinda Blair was a child model and actress before she was cast as Regan as Regan in The Exorcist. She had been selected from a pool of potential candidates. Linda Blair quickly rose to notoriety and was awarded her first Golden Globe. She was expected to be awarded an Academy Award. But when it was revealed that some roles she played were not actually done by Linda (the voice of the demons were recorded by a dubbed voice and the 8 second scenes were recorded by an actor) The dream was blown to pieces. Linda was able to secure leading roles in a range of movies, including the wildly popular TV film Born Innocent. However, Linda was arrested for pressured by her peers to purchase cocaine after she was 18 years old and subsequently received a sentence of three years probation. Linda was subsequently blacklisted by Hollywood following the widely-publicized drug arrest. The career of Linda soon restricted to B films and appearances on guest TV appearances.
