Amanda Brugel

Tessa Tessa Amanda AmandaPointe Claire lies in that quiet part of Montreal's West Island. Most people do not know the significance of the word and believe it's a distinct Island that lies west of Montreal. It is actually it is a part of the West Island includes the entire region from Lachine to the west. Amanda Brugel was born there as well. The only thing is that she visited for a few days. Brugel lived in Courtice in the outskirts of Oshawa. Her early ambition was to become a dancer but a growth spurt meant that she grew beyond the dancers she was with. She admitted in an article written by The Toronto Star that she was 6'1" tall and wore heels. When I was outgrowing my male companions, I stopped. Some former dancers move into acting. For Brugel her encouragement came from an instructor of drama in the high school. The teacher who suggested she try her hand at a character in the annual school production. She tried out and ended up playing the lead in Anne of Green Gables. It was the Fine Arts Talent Award at York University led her to the Theater Program which she completed in 2000 with a bachelor of master of fine arts.
